If you've been following the journeys of our Shire foals - Soldier, Iris, Athena, Captain and Major - then this limited-time VIP experience is one you won't want to miss.

We've had thousands of people all over the world tuning in to our videos about our efforts to grow the numbers of the rare breed Shire horses, to share in the triumph and tragedy of this difficult task.

And now, for the first time ever, we are giving visitors the chance to get up close and personal with our foals themselves.

Watch Soldier take his milk, hear the story of how they got here, allow us to share our thoughts and remember Ruby and Iris, and then go to our paddocks to see all the rest of our Shire stable.

Clothing requirements

Participants are required to wear long sleeves and long bottoms, preferably not loose fitting and which they do not mind getting dirty. Footwear must be closed-toe, waterproof shoes (e.g. wellies or walking boots) as participants will be required to use foot dips when passing through animal enclosures. A spare change of footwear can be brought and changed in to for the experience.

Age: 8 and up

Maximum group size: 6 people

Under 17s have to be accompanied by a participating adult

Experience lasts 1 hour

Suitable for participants that use a mobility scooter, wheelchair or walker

Suitable for participants that use crutches or walking sticks.

This experience is not suitable for those with the following allergies: Hay/Straw
