Mammal House Keeper Experience Terms & Conditions

• Children under the age of 8 are not suitable to partake in this experience.
• This experience can be booked for a maximum of 4 people – if any of the participants are under the age of 17 another of the 4 must be an accompanying participating adult.
• A lot of the small mammals in the mammal house eat a variety of nuts and seeds. Various fruits and vegetables will also be handled. Any relevant allergies must be highlighted on the disclosure form when booking.
• Anyone with dust allergies or extensive respiratory conditions need to declare this when booking as cleaning the small mammal enclosures can be dusty.
• This experience is not suitable for any individuals with severe allergies to rodent animals such as rats, mice and guinea pigs.
• Individuals with extreme phobias of rats and mice will not enjoy this experience.
• Individuals with extreme phobias of the dark may not enjoy this experience as part of it will take part during our ‘false night’ hours in which red-lighting only is used.
• Individuals with claustrophobia may not enjoy this experience.
• This experience requires individuals to follow the clothing and footwear guidelines set out in the general terms and conditions.
• If participants own rodents at home please wear clothing you have NOT interacted with them in prior to arrival.
• Due to the necessary design of our enclosures, not all of them are accessible to those using mobility aids. This experience is not suitable to those using mobility scooters, wheelchairs or walkers. Those who require assistance from crutches or walking sticks can be accommodated for – this must be highlighted prior to the experience.
• All participants must be able to follow the verbal instructions provided by the experience keepers at all times throughout the experience.
